Welcome to the Florida LMSC
Whether you're a first time member or have been a long-time affiliate, we're so pleased you're with us.
The Florida LMSC is made up of all kinds of swimmers. Maybe you're a gung-ho competitor who can't wait for the next meet entries to local, Zone, National and World meets; or you're taking a break from competition; or you're one of our treasured lap and fitness swimmers who leave the starting blocks to others. Whoever you are, you are a great addition to the Florida LMSC.
There is so much more to Masters Swimming than just competitions. For starters, there's the camaraderie we all have, as a local team, club and as a national organization. The Florida LMSC Newsletter and USMS Swimmer magazine (our bi-monthly national United States Masters swimming publication) help keep us up to date with tidbits about our friends, upcoming meets and swimming information we all can use.

July 26, 2008 LMSC Meeting Our Second FL LMSC meeting is scheduled for Saturday July 26 at the Cocoa YMCA LCM Meet in Cocoa, FL. The meeting will start immediately following the 200 M Mixed Medley relay. All Team Representatives are encouraged to attend.

Remember that there are three scheduled FL LMSC meetings each year and that one of the major contributions a Team Representative provides is to attend meetings; where they collect important information and participate in FL LMSC governance. This networking and fellowship allows them to bring back critical information to you. Your Team Representative is a Very Important Person (VIP) with your club. Please be sure that yours is serving you well!
